My Trip to Manila – A City Full of Life
I recently took a trip to Manila, the capital city of the Philippines. It was a fun and exciting experience! Manila is a big city with a mix of modern buildings, old churches, busy streets, and kind people.
One of my favorite places was Intramuros, the old part of Manila. It has Spanish-style buildings and streets. Walking there felt like going back in time. I visited Fort Santiago, a famous historical site. It was peaceful and had a lot of stories from the past.
Another great spot was Rizal Park, a large public park where people come to relax, walk, or have picnics. There is a statue of Dr. Jose Rizal, a national hero of the Philippines. The park is green and beautiful.
Manila also has big shopping malls like SM Mall of Asia. It’s one of the biggest in Asia! You can shop, eat, watch movies, and even see the sea nearby. The sunset from the bay was amazing.
The food in Manila was delicious. I tried local dishes like adobo, sinigang, and halo-halo (a sweet, cold dessert). The people were always smiling and helpful, which made my trip even better.
Manila is a city full of energy and history. It’s a mix of old and new, quiet parks and busy roads, local food and international malls. I really enjoyed my time there and would love to visit again!
